The SPCA organised the Aniform Day Award Ceremony and the first Aniform Bank Exhibition
Featuring Aniform Banks Designed by Participants and Children of Celebrities
(27 November 2023) The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) (“the SPCA,” “the Society”) organised the 9th Aniform Day Award Ceremony on 25 November 2023 (Saturday) at D2 Place. The event recognised the winners of the Aniform Bank Drawing Competition and presented them with a total of 12 awards. The exceptional artworks, including designs by celebrities’ children, will be exhibited in various locations, starting with the first exhibition at D2 Place from 25 November to 29 December.
Eric Kwok and XiX Promote Animal Welfare at the Award Ceremony
Themed “Start Small: Change Matters,” this year’s Aniform Day aimed to raise public awareness of animal education at an early age. It highlighted the significant impact the collective efforts and donations can make in changing the lives of animals in need. Children were encouraged to design their own Aniform Bank to save pocket money or donations, in support of animal welfare. The event advocates for the importance of treating animals with love, respect, and care, with the goal of fostering a pet-inclusive Hong Kong. After cost deduction, all donations received will fund the medical and daily expenses of the animals in need at the SPCA.
The SPCA honoured a total of 12 winners of the Aniform Bank Drawing Competition, with some of the awards being presented by the renowned singer-songwriter Eric Kwok. He was later joined by the Girl Group XiX to share their thoughts on animal welfare on stage. Together, they expressed gratitude to everyone for helping animals in need by donating pocket money and pooling together every contribution to create a huge impact.
