The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Hong Kong) (“SPCA”) would like to issue a reminder to the public regarding the presence of fake adoption websites pretending to be the SPCA or falsely claiming to be associated with the SPCA. These websites may request adoption fees to be deposited into a personal bank account.

The SPCA hereby states that we never request adopters to deposit adoption fees into personal bank accounts. All adoption procedures, including payment, must be completed in person at the SPCA adoption centres. For detailed information about our adoption process, please visit the following link: https://www.spca.org.hk/what-we-do/adoption/adoption-process/

The SPCA advises the public to remain vigilant against counterfeit websites attempting to impersonate the SPCA. For safety purposes, please only visit our official website at www.spca.org.hk and refrain from clicking on any suspicious links.

If you have any enquiries, please contact us at 2802 0501.
