It’s time for Dragon Boat Festival again! This year, our furry friends can finally join in on the festivities and enjoy their own rice dumplings too!
Learn how to make pet-friendly rice dumplings in our workshop with Pawffee Shop. Each group will create three unique rice dumplings, suitable for both cats and dogs. Your dogs can also try their “paw” at making dumplings with you by attending the workshop as well!
After cost deduction, all proceeds will go towards supporting the medical and daily expenses of our animals in need.

Pawffee Shop (Workshop Co-organiser)
Pawffee Shop was founded by two dog-loving girls, who are passionate about creating a variety of cakes, snacks and fresh food for pets. Their goal is to break away from the monotony of traditional dog food and make mealtime for pets more special. Pawffee Shop also provide pet food certificate courses from the Korea Food Association in their >1,000 square feet studio.
Terms & Conditions:
- The workshop will be conducted in Cantonese. Participants must be aged 12 years or above.
- Only dogs are allowed to join the workshop. Each group can only bring up to one dog to attend. Other animals are not permitted for safety reasons.
- Advance reservation is required to join the workshop. Walk-in will not be accepted.
- Rice dumplings created in this workshop may not be suitable for pets who are undergoing food allergy trials, have been diagnosed with food allergies, have a sensitive stomach or specific dietary requirements. Please consult a veterinary surgeon if there are any concerns.
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
- All participants are responsible for the care and supervision of their own pets throughout the workshop.
- It is the responsibility of each participant to clean up after their pets promptly. We kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping the area clean and tidy.
- Pawffee Shop and the SPCA (HK) shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the workshop. Participants are responsible for their pets’ behaviour and actions. Any damage caused by pets to the property or other participants’ belongings will be the sole responsibility of the owner.
- The SPCA (HK) is entitled to use the images and videos taken at this event for publication and promotional use.
- Fees are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled.
- The SPCA (HK) reserves the right to cancel the workshop if the number of participants falls below the required minimum. In such cases, we will contact the affected participants 48 hours prior to the workshop via the provided contact number and arrange a refund.
- A recipe in Chinese will be provided to participants.
- Quota for the workshop is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
