Responsibilities
- To be responsible for managing the Inspectorate Hotline
- To receive phone calls from the public, government departments and other agencies, etc. and handle complaint cases
- To record particulars of the callers and the phone calls accurately and promptly
- To liaise with colleagues in response to the phone calls received and arrange for actions
- To monitor and record results of actions taken by colleagues
- To assist the unit in any other lawful duties including clerical and support duties as and when required
Requirements
- Post-secondary or above with at least two years’ relevant experience
- Have a good command of spoken English and Cantonese, Putonghua language skills would be an advantage
- Good communication skill and excellent telephone manner
- Able to deal with difficult callers
- Friendly, outgoing, self initiative and able to work under pressure
- Work shifts to be two-days on and two-days off with 12 hours per shift (20:30 – 08:30) at our Kowloon Centre
- Amenable to discipline
- Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals
