Large Dog Basic Obedience Course

This is a fun, beginner-level course designed for well-socialised, adolescent and adult dogs over 10kg. Course content includes obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, come, leave it, loose-leash walking, an introduction to heeling and not jumping up. There is also an emphasis on the prevention of future problems such as handling issues and food bowl guarding.

In order to attend, your dog must be over 18 weeks of age and weigh more than 10kg. Your animal must be fully vaccinated including up-to-date DHPPiL and rabies shots. We will need written proof of these before your dog can start the course.

The courses run for five weeks and each class is an hour long. The first class of each course is a theory class so please leave your dog at home.

Remark

• This class meets once a week for 5 weeks, first week is orientation – Humans Only Please!
• Up to date full DHPPiL and rabies vaccination (for dogs over 5 months old) are required and must be given at least 7 days before the second class
