REASONS FOR WORKING AT THE SPCA (HK)

I always wanted to find a job where I could work with and help animals. My initial thought when young was to work in a pet shop, but I really disliked the concept of animals being “for sale.”
So, I decided to work at the SPCA, and it has been a truly wonderful experience, as not only have I been able to work with animals, I get to nurse them when sick and see them return to health. Also, I really enjoy the welfare work, in particular finding homes for those less fortunate animals. I truly feel like I am helping them and making a difference, something I am really proud of!

PETS

Three cats, two dogs and a gecko – all adopted!
“Fubie” an abandoned cat with spinal issues, “King Julian” a foster kitten I never gave back, “Neumo” a rescue cat who fell 22 floors and survived, two Poodles “Shudo” and “Harley Quinn” and finally “Aniki” the Crested Gecko!
