Veterinary Surgeon

Due to future expansion plans we are looking for a highly motivated experienced veterinary surgeon, the successful applicant would be primarily rostered in one of our main centres – Hong Kong, Kowloon or Tsing Yi.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our friendly veterinary team; this vacancy is perfect for a capable veterinary surgeon wishing to further hone their skills and build up a strong client base.

• At least 5 years’ practical experience in the small animal veterinary field (although less experienced highly motivated individuals are also welcome to apply).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work as a team.
• Responsible, systematic and able to work under pressure.
• A keen interest in the development and mentorship of colleagues.
• Genuine interest in the welfare of animals.

What We Offer (for full-time position)

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
• Out-of-hours commission.
• Discretionary performance incentive.
• 5-day working week, 6pm finish and limited out of hours and weekend work.
• Annual leave initially at 22 days per year, increasing incrementally to 30 days commensurate with years of service.
• Public holiday entitlement of 17 days per year.
• Sabbatical leave on completion of 3 years’ service and above.
• Continuing Professional Development (CPD) leave which increases with years of service.
• In-house CPD training opportunities from board certified specialists.
• Assistance with work visa applications and Veterinary Surgeons Board registration.
• Hong Kong has a very low tax rate which is currently capped at a maximum of 17%.
