My pet is sick but it is an Emergency?

It is difficult and unwise to try to list conditions that are emergencies as each situation is different, but problems such as difficulty giving birth, not passing urine, prolapsed eye, breathing difficulty, open wounds, poisoning or traffic accidents generally require immediate treatment.

[22 November: SPCA Dog Meet & Greet @ Wan Chai]
Next Saturday, come meet over a dozen adorable dogs waiting for adoption at Wan Chai! 💕

Dogs who stay in kennels for a long time can easily experience “kennel stress”, especially when people visit and look at them through the glass — it can make them feel nervous and anxious.

This time, our volunteer dog walkers will be bringing around 14 dogs who are currently waiting for their forever homes to the Wan Chai Waterfront Dog Park for some close-up interaction! You’ll get to see them relaxed, playful, and showing their true personalities.

Let’s support “Adopt, Don’t Shop”! 🐾

Date: 22 November 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 10:00pm to 12:30pm
Location: Wan Chai Centre & Park
RSVP: Free admission, no RSVP required

[Meet the Heroes: SPCA Inspectors]

Many of us consider our pets family. Yet, sadly, not every animal in our community receives the same love and care. Too often, animals are found mistreated, injured, or in danger.

Luckily, our SPCA inspectors are always there for them — a team of dedicated professionals working around the clock, 24/7, armed with expertise, compassion, and unwavering determination to rescue animals in need.

🎥 Watch the video to find out and learn more about their incredible work.

🩵 The SPCA animal rescue service is free. If you wish to help us help more animals, please donate via bit.ly/4dmd0cj.

🎄 Appreciation Weeks special offer:
From now until 31 December, when you sign up for a monthly donation of HK$100 or more to any programme, or make a one-off donation of HK$380 or more to the Inspectorate Fund, you will receive a free personalised Christmas ornament.

🐶Chu Chu (PN 565848) - bit.ly/3XiM6Mk

🐶 Mia (PN 591118) - bit.ly/3WIMBiJ

🐶 Muffin (PN 606911) - bit.ly/496vj6E

[Adopt Us – Tripods]
Hello, we’re Chu Chu, Mia and Muffin - the lovable tripods available for adoption at the SPCA!

“Tripod” dogs live with 3 legs, but can live long, happy lives just like any other dog, and certainly don’t let it affect them from living their life to the fullest!

🐶Chu Chu (PN 565848) - https://bit.ly/485k64b
2-year-old Chu Chu was rescued in 2024 from a scrap heap in San Tin back in 2024 with a bad fracture to his left hind leg.

🐶Mia (PN 591118) - https://bit.ly/4hLshqp
Mia was rescued back in March 2025 and was suspected to have been involved in a road traffic accident, with a nasty injury also to her left hind leg

🐶Muffin (PN 606911) - https://bit.ly/4qMekN0
And our latest addition to the SPCA; 6-month-old Muffin, was living on campgrounds until he fractured his hind leg and needed amputation to improve his quality of life.

Depite all 3 dogs missing a leg, they are friendly to everyone they meet and have no shortage of love to offer!

Please come visit them and give them a chance at a happy ever after!
