Yogurt:

Ball Watch Sponsors Hole 17 - Spotlight on Yogurt

On 31 May 2025, SPCA inspectors rescued two young cats taking shelter in a public toilet in Fanling. One of those cats was Yogurt, who was suffering from a bad eye infection at the time. Thankfully, he was able to receive the medical care he needed to keep his eye, but unfortunately the damage had already been done, and Yogurt now has a little scarring on his left eye.

Though Yogurt cannot see out of his left eye, today, he thrives under our care and is a playful young cat, ready for the next chapter of his life.

Ball Watch is proud to sponsor Hole 17 at SPCA Charity Golf Day, shining a spotlight on Yogurt—one of the many animals whose lives have been transformed through SPCA’s care and now waiting for his forever home.

By sponsoring Hole 17, Ball Watch is helping SPCA provide life-saving treatment to cats like Yogurt, giving them the chance to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Precision meets purpose: Ball Watch, Accuracy Under Adverse Conditions.

Urgently Seeking Foster Parents to Care for Kittens!

It’s that time of the year again! Spring and Autumn are the typical breeding seasons for cats, and we are once again inundated with neonatal kittens.
Just last month we fostered out 60 kittens and are in need of more foster parents to accommodate the many young and vulnerable kittens that are coming into our centres.

Neonatal kittens will require round-the-clock care, frequent bottle-feeding and regular check-ups at our Tsing Yi Centre. If you have the time, care and experience needed to help nurture a young life, please reach out to us at 2232 5553 / 2232 5564 or email foster@spca.org.hk.

Thinking about a future as a vet? SPCA’s first Thinking about a future as a vet?

SPCA’s first Vet Discovery Programme is now open for enrolment! Designed for students aged 16–18, this 70-hour summer programme offers a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the veterinary field and explore a career in veterinary medicine and other related disciplines could look like.

Through first-hand learning and real-world experiences, participants will hear directly from our veterinary team, inspectors and dog trainers, while gaining insight into the many ways professionals work together to protect and care for animals. From clinical observations and caring for shelter animals, to lectures, interactive activities and visits to partner organisations, the programme offers a broader view of animal welfare work in practice, as well as the ethical and welfare challenges faced by the profession.

領養程序:bit.ly/46WAu6g

[Adopt Us: Meet the Pups – Part 2!]

Last week, we introduced our 6- to 7-month-old pups—but we've also got a few newcomers who are eagerly waiting for their forever homes, between 3- to 5-months-old at our Wan Chai Centre!

⚠️ Just a reminder: puppies may be cute and playful right now, but they need plenty of care, attention, and training. And one day, they’ll grow into big, beautiful adult dogs who will need the same commitment from you.
Before bringing a puppy home, please make sure you’re ready to care for a dog for life.

Not looking to adopt a puppy? We have dogs of all ages across our 4 centres too! See all of our animals available for adoption here: https://bit.ly/4cIIXwC

SPCA Tsing Yi, Wan Chai, Kowloon and Sai Kung adoption centres are open every day 11am-5:30pm (appointment free). Adoption process: bit.ly/42u9Znu

Can’t adopt? The SPCA relies on the public’s donations for our daily, medical, and training needs. Please support us by joining the Animal Sponsorship Programme to help animals in need (bit.ly/3sp7CmC).
