In this role, you will be responsible for … 

  • Strive to raise the awareness of our organization by establishing a good press network. Work closely with influential content partners and influencer to increase brand credibility and exposure through different channels
  • Develop and drive Public Relations/media strategies and initiatives to promote the vision, mission and the role of the Society
  • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals and tactics
  • Develop, identify and manage a roster of relevant ambassadors for the organization including management of such relationships
  • Collaborate with the content team to plan, produce and create content for press releases, magazines, newsletters, publications, web site and social media channels
  • Manage / respond to media inquiries and interview requests in a timely and effective manner; act as the Society’s spokesperson on matters of general information
  • Proactively identify potential crisis issues from different channels, prepare necessary public relations plans for crisis management
  • Plan and execute Public Relations events and press conference
  • Manage external vendors to implement events and relevant reporting
  • Develop internal communication initiatives to foster internal culture
  • Manage the Public Relations team, including setting annual budgets, monitor, analyze and report Public Relations results

What you will need for this role ?

  • Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Marketing Communications and/or related disciplines; with a minimum of 7-10  years solid experience in marketing communications and Public Relations building corporate image and media relations
  • Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships and has a strong media and KOL networks in relevant sector
  • Must possess excellent strategic thinking, organizational and planning skills
  • Good interpersonal and team management skills
  • Experience in collaterals production; knowledge in design, photoshop and video editing will be a plus
  • Be proactive, resourceful, responsible and accurate with an attention to details and ability to work in high-stress environments
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter; excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must
  • A natural collaborative leader, pleasant and outgoing personality, responsible, self-motivated, independent and quick witted
  • Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals
