About the Position

The position will be responsible for supporting the team in conducting and managing educational events to meet the needs of the market.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach activities in schools and community to promote public education and awareness of animal welfare.
  • Host and manage group visits to immersive classroom and handicraft workshops at Tsing Yi Centre.
  • Host and manage different customer engagement programmes (e.g. Kids Charity Birthday Party / Summer Camp) at Tsing Yi Centre.
  • Develop and manage education materials for current / new education programmes at Tsing Yi Centre.
  • Support various promotions in exploring new outreach opportunities in schools and community.
  • Support various promotions in driving traffic to the Tsing Yi Centre.
  • Support in events in the local community.
  • Solicit feedback from key stakeholders and assist in the compilation of data and reports.
  • Research on market needs and new contents on an on-going basis.
  • Provide support to other teams on a need basis.

 

Qualification

  • A recognised Degree in Marketing, Child Psychology, Education, Social Science or related disciplines.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in event management, customer service or teaching; experience in school programmes / public talks / facilitation skills / project management / education industry or NGO is a definite advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communications and customer handling skills.
  • Cheerful, proactive, detail-oriented mindset, sincere attitude, independent and a good team player is a must; with a passion to interact with people from different backgrounds.
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Good computer knowledge (familiar with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other multi-media experience will be an advantage.
  • Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals.
  • Working during weekends and holidays will be required
