🐾 好多人都知道，SPCA 嘅「貓隻領域護理計劃」（CCCP）會為街貓絕育，呢一步對控制街貓數量非常重要。 但你又知唔知道，我哋唔止做絕育咁簡單？ 每個月，我哋都會為 200–300 隻街貓免費絕育，並由義務護理員安全放回原區。 每隻 CCCP 貓喺手術期間都會一次過接受： • ✅ 絕育手術 • ✅ 植入晶片 • ✅ 接種狂犬病及貓混合（FVRCP）疫苗 • ✅ 杜蟲及杜蚤 • ✅ 剪耳標記 換句話講，CCCP 唔單止幫街貓絕育，仲同時提升佢哋嘅健康保障，同社區管理。 呢一切全賴我哋一班義務護理員，默默喺全港唔同嘅貓隻領域付出。佢哋負責捕捉、運送，甚至喺放回之後繼續照顧呢啲街貓，係佢哋嘅努力成就咗整個計劃。我哋衷心感謝佢哋嘅付出。 我哋亦衷心感謝 MSD Animal Health 慷慨支持 400 支 Bravecto Plus 貓用滴劑，為街貓提供更長效及全面嘅內外寄生蟲守護；同時非常感謝 Royal Canin 捐贈貓糧，支持我哋嘅街貓護理工作。 我哋亦歡迎大家捐贈毛巾、貓籠、物資等。歡迎致電我哋嘅 CCCP 熱線（2232 5589）查詢我哋目前需要嘅物資。 捐款支持貓隻領域護理計劃: bit.ly/4fzUamA 🐾 Many people know that the SPCA's Cat Colony Care Programme (CCCP) provides desexing for street cats – a crucial step in controlling the street cat population. But did you know that we do much more than just desexing? Every month, we provide free desexing for 200–300 street cats, and our CCCP carers safely return them to their original colonies. Under anaesthesia, each CCCP cat receives: • ✅ Desexing surgery • ✅ Microchipping • ✅ Rabies and Feline 3-in-1 (FVRCP) vaccinations • ✅ Deworming and defleaing preventatives • ✅ Ear tipping In other words, CCCP not only helps control the street cat population through desexing but also improves the cats' health protection and supports better community management. None of this would be possible without our dedicated CCCP carers, who work tirelessly across colonies all over Hong Kong. Their hard work in trapping, transporting, and continuing to care for these street cats even after release is what makes this programme a success. We are deeply grateful for their commitment. We would also like to sincerely thank MSD Animal Health for supporting us with 400 tubes of Bravecto Plus spot-on for cats, providing longer-lasting protection against fleas, ticks, heartworm, intestinal parasites, and ear mites. 狗狗胸背帶點揀好？🐶 胸背帶係帶狗狗出街嘅必需品，但唔係每一款都同樣安全、合適。 一般嚟講，我哋會建議主人揀選胸前同背脊都有扣位嘅胸背帶，方便主人控制狗狗，更易引導方向。 另外，出街時要記得收短狗繩，尤其喺狹窄或多人嘅地方，令狗狗行近自己身邊。見到其他人時，記得帶狗狗行近自己，並保持適當距離。 狗狗行為及訓練諮詢服務：📞 2232 5531 How to Choose the Right Harness for Your Dog? 🐶 A harness is an everyday essential for walks, but not every style is equally safe or suitable for your dog. We generally recommend choosing a harness with attachment points on both the chest and the back, as this offers better control and makes it easier to guide your dog’s movement. When you’re out and about, keep the leash short, especially in narrow or crowded areas, so your dog stays close to you. When passing other people, keep your dog close and give them enough space. 9月28日係世界狂犬病日 雖然香港自 19 9月28日係世界狂犬病日 雖然香港自 1980 年代起已經冇再出現本地狂犬病個案，但要維持呢個成果，我哋仍然要了解狂犬病嘅傳播方式，同埋做好適當嘅預防措施。 ⭐️ 傳播 狂犬病唔係淨係由狗傳播，任何哺乳類動物都有機會帶有病毒，包括狗、貓、馬騮，甚至蝙蝠。 最常見嘅傳播途徑係被受感染動物咬傷，或者受感染動物嘅口水接觸到破損皮膚。 ⭐️ 預防 喺戶外活動時，唔好接近或者嘗試觸摸野生動物，以減低被咬傷或抓傷嘅風險。 如果不幸被動物咬傷或者抓傷，應立即徹底清洗傷口，並盡快求醫。 💉 作為負責任主人，請記得按規定每 3 年為狗狗接種一次狂犬病疫苗，並確保狗牌上嘅聯絡資料保持最新狀態。你亦可以透過「智方便」應用程式查閱你嘅「電子狗隻牌照」。 ‼️ 最後，千祈唔好喺網上向未經核實嘅來源購買動物，尤其係聲稱可以即日送達嘅賣家。呢類交易好多時涉及走私，動物未經適當檢疫，會大大增加狂犬病傳入香港嘅風險。 28 September is World Rabies Day While Hong Kong has had no local cases of rabies since the 1980s, in order to maintain this achievement, it is important to understand how rabies is transmitted and take proper preventive measures. ⭐️ Spread Rabies is not spread by dogs alone. Any mammal can carry the virus, including dogs, cats, monkeys and even bats. Transmission is most commonly via a bite wound, or when the saliva of an infected animal comes in contact with broken skin. ⭐️ Prevention When outdoors, do not approach or attempt to touch wild animals, to reduce the risk of being bitten or scratched. If you are bitten or scratched by an animal, thoroughly clean the wound immediately, and seek medical attention as soon as possible. 💉 As a responsible owner, remember to have your dog vaccinated against rabies every 3 years, as required, and make sure your contact details linked to your dog licence are kept up to date. You can also access your "Electronic Dog Licence" through the "iAM Smart" application. ‼️ Finally, never buy animals on-line from unverified sources, particularly those claiming same-day delivery. These sales often involve smuggling, with animals bypassing proper quarantine and greatly increasing the risk of rabies entering Hong Kong.
