【Hank 後來嘅幸福生活】

Hank 係 2022 年 10 月喺一個小輪車場同另外6隻狗狗被拯救。佢喺愛協等咗 776 日，終於遇上 Monie，搵到屬於自己嘅幸福歸宿。

Hank 對陌生人比較敏感，容易緊張又怕羞，需要時間慢慢熟習新朋友，先會願意畀人接近。

不過，Monie 喺 Hank 身上睇到一啲特質，令佢諗起以前嘅自己。呢份共鳴，令佢決心陪 Hank 一齊踏上成長之路。Monie 一步一步幫 Hank 建立自信——由新嘅散步路線、新嘅聲音同新嘅人，到新地方，甚至慢慢練習搭交通工具，等 Hank 可以慢慢成長。

而家嘅 Hank已經變成一個溫柔又忠心嘅女仔。佢會成日留意住主人、喺屋企叼住玩具熱情迎接 Monie，亦會用自己嘅方式深深咁表達愛。

Monie 希望大家記住：唔好忽略啲怕羞嘅毛孩。只要有耐性同支持，佢哋真係可以有好大改變。

[Hank’s Happy Ever After]

Hank was 1 of 7 puppies rescued from a BMX park in October 2022 and ended up staying with the SPCA for 776 days before finding her happy ever after with Monie.

Hank was sensitive, stressed, and timid with strangers, needing time to warm to newcomers before allowing them to approach and at first.

However, Monie saw something in Hank which reminded her of herself from the past. This compelled Monie to go on a journey of growth with Hank, and Monie worked on building Hank’s confidence step by step—new walking routes, new sounds/people, new places, and gentle practice with transport so Hank can grow.

Now Hank is a sweet, loyal girl who checks in with her person, greets her warmly at home (with a toy!), and shows love deeply.
Monie hopes others will remember don’t overlook the shy ones. With patience and support, their transformation is real.

昨日下午約6時，愛協督察接獲消防處轉介，指啟德啟晴邨滿晴樓一個單位發生火警。消防員其後喺單位內救出 15隻貓貓，愛協督察隨即將佢哋送往愛協灣仔中心醫院，交由獸醫團隊即時進行緊急治療。

目前，15隻貓貓全部生還，暫時未見有嚴重燒傷情況。不過，其中 4隻貓貓身體比較虛弱，現時需要留喺氧氣箱內接受進一步觀察同治療。

要留意嘅係，即使寵物獲救後表面睇落無異樣，喺火場暴露過後，仍然需要至少 72小時密切觀察。因為濃煙同有毒氣體對身體造成嘅影響，很多時會延遲出現，所以現階段所有獲救貓貓都仲需要接受持續監察。

愛協會繼續跟進貓貓嘅治療同觀察情況，亦會同貓主保持密切聯絡。

15 Cats Rescued from Yesterday’s Fire

At around 6pm yesterday, SPCA inspectors received a referral from the Fire Services Department regarding a fire at a flat in Mun Ching House, Kai Ching Estate, Kai Tak. Firefighters later rescued 15 cats from the unit, and SPCA inspectors immediately transferred them to the SPCA Wan Chai Centre hospital, where our veterinary team provided emergency treatment.

At present, all 15 cats have survived, and no serious burn injuries have been observed so far. However, 4 of the cats are in a weaker condition and are currently being kept in oxygen chambers for further observation and treatment.

It is important to note that even if rescued pets appear unharmed on the surface, they still require close observation for at least 72 hours after exposure to a fire. The effects of smoke inhalation and toxic gases can often be delayed, so all of the rescued cats are still under ongoing monitoring at this stage.

We will continue to follow up on their treatment and condition, and we will also remain in close contact with the owner.

[Adopt Me – Blossom]

Hello, my name is Blossom! I was rescued as a stray from a village in Sheung Shui on 22 September 2025. I was very poorly at the time and had a host of ailments, so a concerned passerby contacted the inspectors to come to my rescue. Thank goodness they did as I was able to receive the medical care and treatment I needed as a result! Now that I am better and have a second chance at a happy ever after, I would love to find a loving forever home. Please come visit me and see if we make a good match!
