自 2026 年初起，愛協已就「520浪浪加油站」動物收容場所接獲數百宗投訴，過去數月亦一直就此事與警方及漁農自然護理署保持密切聯繫。

昨日，漁護署人員到該收容場所進行巡查，並帶走多隻狗隻。我們感謝有關部門採取行動，保障這些狗隻的福祉。

這宗事件令人痛心，同時亦再次揭示一個更深層的問題︰
動物虐待並不只限於蓄意施暴，疏忽照顧同樣屬於虐待。

當動物長期缺乏足夠食物、清潔食水、安全棲身之所、所需獸醫護理，以及合適的生活環境，牠們便會承受痛苦，而這些痛苦往往在獲得協助前已持續多時。

我們不能一再等到動物受到嚴重傷害後，才採取行動。

香港急需在妥善規管動物收容場所的同時，引入飼養者照顧責任。這是愛協及其他動物福利團體多年來一直倡議的重要方向。若設有收容所牌照及巡查制度，所有收容場所便須符合基本動物福利標準、申領牌照，並接受監管，以確保遵守相關要求。

任何動物收容場所都不應在缺乏問責和監管的情況下運作。主管當局必須具備巡查收容場所、執行標準，以及在動物面臨風險時及時介入的權力與責任。

遺憾的是，很多時候，援助往往在動物已承受嚴重痛苦後才到來。動物理應得到更完善的保障。更有效的保護，有賴更健全的法例、更有力的規管，以及更完善的監察機制。

至於目前仍留在該收容場所的動物，我們期望有關方面繼續採取進一步行動，包括持續巡查、密切監察及提供適切照顧，以確保牠們的福祉得到保障。我們亦已準備就緒，繼續提供支援與協助。

【Max同Harley後來嘅幸福生活】
2023年，Max同Harley分別從兩個唔同案件嚟到愛協九龍中心。過咗無耐，佢哋喺狗舍相處得好好，成為咗彼此嘅依靠。Max係一個自信滿分嘅活潑小男孩，而Harley就係一個靦腆文靜小生，超有異性緣，佢哋兩個一凹一凸，係最佳拍檔！

有一日，Alexa同Sean見到社交平台上面有關Harley 嘅貼文，就決定嚟探吓佢。但估都估唔到，佢哋嚟到發現自己同Max都好有緣好玩得埋㖭！

雖然Alexa同Sean屋企已經有Bao Bao呢隻新時代獨立女狗狗，但Alexa同Sean都係決定帶呢對好兄弟返屋企，而家三隻狗狗都相處得好好，一齊瞓喺同一間房，朝早一齊去俾爸爸媽媽一個morning kiss😘

Alexa同Sean同我哋分享咗佢哋嘅領養故事，證明其實一次領養兩隻狗仔並冇想象中咁難㗎！雖然可能會遇到雙倍嘅問題，但獲得嘅快樂係無盡㗎！

[Max & Harley’s Happy Ever After]

Max and Harley both arrived at the SPCA Kowloon Centre from separate cases back in 2023 but soon found comfort in each other during their time in kennels.
Max was a confident, energetic boy, whilst Harley was a shy, timid dog who was a hit with the ladies. What one “lacked” the other made up for, bringing perfect balance to this friendship.

One day, Alexa and Sean came across Harley’s post on social media and decided to visit him. They never expected that they would also develop a strong connection with Max as well.
Despite already having an “independent, bossy and strong-willed” female dog at home (Bao Bao), Alexa and Sean decided to adopt both boys. They now get along well with their new sister, enjoy sleeping in the same room and giving their parents morning kisses.

Alexa and Sean share their adoption story with us and explain why “adopting two dogs together isn’t as tough as it seems. You get double the challenges, but countless times the happiness.”

大家好我係Chunky啊！2026年3月4號，有人喺元朗一個山坡上面見到我，我當時只係一隻啱啱出世無耐嘅細狗仔，不過好彩呢位善心嘅路人發現我，聯絡咗愛協督察嚟救我。我當時仲好細個，所以就由暫養家庭照顧，到我大個就去領養中心等待我未來嘅家。

雖然我有少少怕醜，但只要你肯花少少時間同我相處，就發現我其實係好友善㗎！

[Adopt Me – Chunky]

Hello, my name is Chunky! I was found on a slope in Yuen Long on 4 March 2026, as a newborn pup. Thankfully, a concerned passerby spotted me and called the inspectors to come to my rescue. As I was so young at the time,
I was sent to stay with a loving foster family until I was big enough to move into the adoption centre. I would love to return to a loving home environment.
Although I can be a bit shy and submissive upon meeting new people for the first time, I am friendly and just need a bit of time to familiarise myself to you.
