The SPCA Vet Department is proud to announce the installation of an underwater treadmill for rehabilitation at our Hong Kong centre. Our grateful thanks to Mrs Diana Wu for her generous sponsorship and to Sasha and Andrew Benadie for introducing the treadmill to us. The machine will be used to benefit both owned pets and welfare cases and is believed to be the first of its kind on offer in Hong Kong.
The underwater treadmill is suitable for the following conditions:
All patients using the machine will be supervised by trained staff.
Due to manpower issue we are unable to accept new physiotherapy cases at the moment. Please watch this space for updates.
