I was born in Spain where I did a lot of volunteer work with animals and then moved to the UK to study. When I graduated, I worked in a busy first opinion practice in Birmingham and then decided to work in emergency and critical care and developed a special interest in this area of veterinary medicine. Next stop Hong Kong where I am looking forward to developing my skill set at the SPCA.
VETERINARY INTERESTS:
Emergency medicine and critical care.
REASONS FOR WORKING AT THE SPCA (HK):
The SPCA will allow me to help owned pets and their owners as well as those less fortunate animals that do not have a home and still need someone to care for them. I also enjoy all the other aspects of animal welfare the SPCA is involved in, such as education, outreach and community work.
PETS:
A naughty rescue kitten called “Halloumi”.
INTERESTS:
I love visiting new countries and experiencing new cultures, wildlife, photography, kayaking and scuba diving.
