Nerikiri Wagashi is a traditional Japanese dessert made of sweetened white bean paste and sweet glutinous rice flour. It is one of the most popular desserts in Asia for its meticulous handcraftsmanship, which beautifully depicts the colourful natural landscapes, plants, and animals in different seasons.
These delicate instagrammable sweets are not just a treat for the eyes - they are also very delicious! If you want to learn how to use simple tools to create an animal-shaped Nerikiri Wagashi of your own, please join our workshop on 14 & 15 April at our Hong Kong Centre and take on an artistic journey with us.
We will be following a low-sugar recipe in this class with different flavours for you to choose from.
After cost deduction, all proceeds will be used to fund our homing animals' medical and daily expenses.
