Course highlights:

Explanation of preventive medicine regimes
Description of the clinical signs of disease to monitor for
Information on proper diet and exercise
Overview of basic veterinary care such as CPR, tooth brushing, cleaning ears and clipping nails
Demonstration of basic obedience and home veterinary care skills with a live dog

About the speaker:


Having decided to become a veterinary surgeon, Ruth completed high school in Canada before heading to the other side of the world to study veterinary science in Melbourne. After graduation, she spent three invaluable years working in a small animal practice in Albury-Wodonga, a regional centre in Australia, before making the jump to Hong Kong and the
SPCA.
