Geriatric Dog Care Seminar


Although age is not a disease, as animals get older problems are more commonly found and treatment or preventative measures need to be taken. This presentation is designed for owners of dogs in or approaching their elder years to alert them to common medical problems they may face and the veterinary help that is available.

Topics include:

The presentation will cover nutrition, comfort, exercise and demeanour plus many of the common medical problems such as reduced hearing and eye sight, stiffness and loss of muscle mass and organ failures e.g. liver, heart and kidneys.
