Adoption Centres across Hong Kong have dozens of friendly, and loyal mixed breed dogs, 
alongside abandoned pedigrees, both adults and puppies.

The SPCA is opposed to the pet trade and those who treat the dogs they sell as stock items.

Where are puppies born and bred?

• Cruel Puppy Mills in Hong Kong (most often run by the "fake" Hobby Breeder)
• Puppies smuggled into Hong Kong from Dali Pet Market, Fo Shan, sourced from puppy mills in China
• Imported from overseas (often from puppy mills in country of origin) e.g. Taiwan

• Genetic Illnesses in purebreed dogs
• Rabies, a horrific disease that could be imported into Hong Kong by infected puppies smuggled from China

• if you cannot find a suitable dog, then Visit the Breeder, be vigilant and Boycott the Bad Breeder!
