A present for someone who has everything? "A gift of double happiness" is actually two presents in one, something for you to give to a friend, relative or colleague and a real gift to help support our welfare work.

Each gift is an actual example of the vital work the Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is carrying out every day, from animal rescue and adoption of abandoned and stray animals to our education and animal birth control programs. The gifts support funds which belong to a particular area of our work, with the promise that money raised will be spent on relevant projects within that area.

We have created four funds, each covering different aspects of the society's work:
  • Prevention and Control of Stray and Abandoned Animals: including animal adoption, fostering, animal birth control programs (spay and neutering) and the Cat Colony Care Programme (CCCP).

  • Prevention of Cruelty: covering the work of our inspectorate including rescue and prosecution.

  • Animal Welfare Education: including talks, road-shows and education packs for schools.

  • China Outreach: covering education on animal welfare legislation, humane education for schools and the general public, veterinary best practices, animal welfare best practices and benchmarking, animal shelter management and rescue training.
We promise to honour your generosity and use your donation in the most effective way possible. The gifts in this catalogue reflect the current welfare needs of the SPCA and the suggested donation amount is based on the average costs for these projects.
