Our Mission
To promote kindness to animals, to protect their health and welfare, to prevent cruelty, and through education, cultivate a deep respect for life in the community so that all living creatures may live together in harmony.

SPCA's Background
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a local charity, which devotes itself to promoting animal welfare. We have been active in Hong Kong since 1921. Even though we are a non-profit charity that provides all aspects of services to help protect animals, we get little financial support from the government. We are not a member of the Community Chest.

We welcome moral and financial support from the public and rely heavily on individual donations, membership subscriptions, and contributions and income from special fundraising events to maintain our many services. Please help animals by supporting the Society.
