Armed with a wealth of experience form everyday duties, the inspectors make excellent instructors in and out of the classroom. Working with the SPCA Education Team, they are often tapped to share their knowledge in many different environments;

Students and Schools

Young people have a natural curiosity about animals and become enthusiastic ambassadors for the message of compassion and kindness. Whether in the classroom or on site at the SPCA, students enjoy learning about Responsible Pet Ownership, the Cadet Inspector Corp, and the many other initiatives in which they can become personally involved. Public Venues

The SPCA sponsors and holds numerous Special Events throughout the year to raise both funds and awareness. Giving lectures and sharing stories at these fun-filled activities gives the inspectors a chance to reach a new audience.

Community based education

Welcoming the inspectors into their homes during a caring home visit, people discuss animal welfare, being responsible pet owners, animal population and disease control, and related topics important to them and their community.
