"A Perfect Wish from Our Next Generation - Respecting Animal", produced by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), is a wonderful collection of 100 pieces of students comic drawings with the theme of "Respect for Life Begins with Concern for Animals".

With the sponsorship by the Hongkong Bank Foundation, the SPCA had successfully launched the “Little Angels for Animals 2008 - Respecting Animals” 4-Panel Comic Drawing Competition attracting more than 6,600 entries from both primary and secondary students of Hong Kong. To commemorate this meaningful event and reinforce its love message, the Society has selected the award-winning and distinctive works to compile in form of a Comic Book to distribute among all schools and to hand over to children in hospitals and social welfare institutions. It is also planned to have the books distributed to the public libraries in Hong Kong.

With beautiful colorings, rich illustrations, interesting characters and the use of simple and creative story lines, the students have expressed their thoughts in drawing on the topics of responsible pet ownership, animal care and welfare which young readers can identify with delights.

The SPCA hopes that the works of the young talents will help inspire others to explore their artistic abilities and encourage children to learn about humane treatment to all animals to enhance personality development.
